Water Fun Day Monday 25th  March 2024

I love this so much fun ! oh hello there i didn’t see you guys Anyways ,does your school have a swimming pool, water activities and fun ? well at Weymouth primary we do,and it is awesome. Let’s get into it. We got put into our house groups , Te uru for red ,Te Whiti for yellow,Te Tonga  for green and the best for last Te Raki for blue .

After we went to the pool for our water relay races. There were three different water races .First they did the race where you had to go through the plastic coloured hoops and the team who had less time won.The second race was under and over You need to go up and down repeatedly and again the team who had less time wins I t looked pretty hard ,i wonder how it was going under and over plenty of times is hard. The third and finale race probably the most fun one was the coloured sorting race . There were four different coloured red , yellow ,blue and green . The teams had to get the balls and put them in the four corners. The fastest who puts them in their designated four corners wins. After that it was morning .

After morning tea time  we had five different stations .The first place was called drip drip drop. It was when there was a sponge full of water and they would drip water on you and if you were chosen  they would splash water on you . It is kind of like  a duck duck goose. The next activity was called bucket feet ,it is when you have to balance the bucket on your feet and if the bucket falls you lose. Then it was lunchtime .Then we did the slip n slide . There were bubbles and dish soap so it was so slippery  and then the second to last was a game called sponge bucket. It is when you have a sponge and you have to transport it to the other side of the courts and we each get a turn. The final station was a water balloon fight. It was so  fun, we were throwing water balloons at each other.

That was a fun water day. I hope we get it again, bye !
